Casual bookings
Sport brings families and friends together and is ideal for improving both mental and physical health. Our 30 ft indoor climbing wall is available for casual use all year round.
Instructor led sessions
We offer both adult and junior instructor led sessions. After all, why let the kids have all the fun? Each session has a dedicated, experienced instructor who will guide you up the wall using an automatic belay system.
Group bookings
We welcome groups of all sizes at LC Swansea and for every 15 paying visitors you'll get the 16th person PLUS one group leader COMPLETELY FREE!
Climb Party
Have the best ever birthday bash with friends on our climbing wall. We are experts at kids’ parties here at the LC so why not let us take control while you relax or join in with the party celebrations? Food is provided and we’ll even do the cleaning up afterwards!
Cardio Climb
Cardio Climb is a fun, sociable group fitness class set on our legendary indoor climbing wall and is open to people of all ages and abilities.

Wall climbing is a great workout and way more than just a fun thing to try. Done regularly it has huge health benefits, such as helping to improve cardiovascular fitness, improved flexibility and balance, and building muscle strength and endurance. It also helps with weight management and is a great stress reliever!
Important bits about wall climbing Swansea
There is no minimum age for the climbing wall, however we do require participants to be a minimum weight of 3 stone and a maximum of 17 stone. There is also a minimum height of 1.1m. Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times, trainers and hard wearing shoes are ideal with no open toe shoes allowed. Food and drink is not to be consumed in the climb pit. Drinking water is permitted in appropriate bottled containers and water fountains are available at the centre for refills.

We have clean and accessible change and shower facilities. Our lockers take a padlock. Don’t worry if you forget yours, you can buy one at reception.

There are several parking options surrounding the LC, the closest being St David's multi-storey car park.

Yes, all climb sessions must be pre-booked. You can book online here in advance or by calling us on 01792 466500.
20 minutes per session and maximum of 4 customers per session.
Generally we offer parties on weekends only, however, if you are looking for a weekday just get in touch and we check availability for you.

Wall climbing can be a good way to lose weight, as it is a physically demanding activity that can burn a significant number of calories. The number of calories burned while climbing will depend on a variety of factors, including your weight, intensity level and the length of the climb but generally, climbers burn calories at a rate similar to high-intensity exercise like spinning and resistance workouts.
