Freedom Leisure believes that highly motivated, focused and enthused people, working as one team, is the key to customer satisfaction and company success.

Our aim is to provide high quality accessible services in the communities we serve and volunteering is a highly valued part of achieving that aim. Our programmes and services are wide ranging and reach many parts of our communities. From healthy walks, to theatre productions, to 'Friday Night Projects' for teenagers, we have a great range of volunteer roles available.

Local communities can access an array of health services to support them in taking greater control of their own health and wellbeing.  We provide a Healthy Communities programme that provides people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to move more and be active!

Our team of Healthy Community’s specialists design tailored programmes that meet local population needs across the life-course; removing barriers to participation and engaging everyone regardless of background, gender, age, ethnicity, ability or socio-economic status.

Our partnerships

Our partnerships

We work closely with local, regional and national partners to establish local health needs and how we as a local leisure provider can support, complement and initiate activities that meet these needs.

The team work closely with National Bodies such as Sport England, UK Active and Community Leisure UK; as well as place-based partners such as Active Partnerships, Integrated Care Systems, Primary Care Networks, Secondary Care and community, voluntary and third-sector organisations.
