Alongside the gym there is a programme of exercise classes from Metafit, over 50's and Indoor Cycling.

If you've never tried it then there is no excuse now come on over and we'll ease you gently into the programme. We know cycling is a great workout, but no one wants to go out and ride a bike in pouring rain, freezing weather, or on a scorching summer day.

While indoor cycling has been around since the early 1990s, the fitness phenomenon is still going strong. It's a highly effective cardio and strength workout. In one 45-minute class, you’ll ride a stationary bike to the beat of awesome music and burn up to 600 calories in the process.

Not only will your lungs be pumping, you'll also work your glutes, calves, quads, hamstrings, and build your core muscles. Indoor cycling is definitely intense and fast-paced, but it’s a great sport for any fitness level. Unlike running, cycling is also low-impact.

Indoor Cycling is absolutely fab and the instructors are brilliant!

Group exercise classes

At East Radnor we have a range of classes for those who prefer to exercise in a group or class environment.

Here's what some of our classes are all about.

Kettles

A body transformation and toning class using lightweight kettlebells. It is a combination of 37 exercises that last one minute each.

Metafit

High intensity workout including a series of body-weight exercises with interval style training. Designed to keep your body burning calories long after your training session is complete. Designed by a former marine, this is a class you can be sure to push your limits in.

Pure stretch

PureStretch has been designed with a simple aim of educating people how to stretch correctly in a fun & fulfilling way. PureStretch will lengthen & strengthen the entire body through a series of balanced choreographed movements that is suitable for everybody to enjoy. A faster paced stretching program ideal for athletes and regular gym users.

Aqua Aerobics

Aqua aerobics, is low impact and easier on joints but still burns calories –  combining strength and cardio workouts mixed with water resistance ensuring the body is getting a full workout.

Legs, bums and tums

A cardio workout for those problem areas using your own body weight or pieces of equipment such as Steps, Hand weights and Resistance bands.
