Following illness and considerable weight gain I decided to join the gym in January and thought a PT would keep me motivated and safe. Especially seeing as some of muscles and joints hadn’t moved dynamically for decades.

Ben was recommended by a few friends, and what a game changer he proved to be!

He works out a full and varied hour of exercise each session, designed to strengthen my weaknesses and tone the untoned!

In the first session he identified weak areas and over the weeks together we have worked on them. He is encouraging and reassuring, and will always ensure that I am not in pain and the exercise is working properly for me. He has kept me focused and motivated to continue.

I had a set of 12 training sessions with Ben last year in order to try and lose some weight and get a get a better focus on training in the gym. 

When I started I also had a shoulder injury so there were a number of exercises that I couldn’t do which was causing some frustration.

Ben explained that he would help me to work all the muscle groups which would overcome the injury, improve strength and give better definition. He also gave excellent advice on nutrition and I changed my diet accordingly.

The range and variety of the exercises plus his enthusiasm and expertise gave me huge motivation to improve which I did.

The results have been fantastic, I lost 10lbs in weight, 3 inches off my waistline got more definition in the upper body – far more than I expected. I also managed to do all the exercises as the injury was overcome and I increased the “weights I was pushing” significantly.

I continue to use the full range of exercises he taught me and am still really enjoying my gym work.

History...With more years in the fitness industry than I care to admit, I have trained and coached many athletes including rugby players, rowers, power lifters, sprint athletes, Moto GP and triathletes. I am very passionate about health and fitness, working out 4-5 times a week. 

Interests...I enjoy training in the gym and my main focus is the core lifts (and arms). I enjoy watching and playing many sports including Power Lifting, Strongman, Body Building, Olympic lifting, Crossfit, Swimming, Football and WWE. 

Specialities...Body Transformations, Flexibility, Mobility, Posture Correction, Injury Prevention, Conditioning, Weight Management, Improve Balance/Agility/Reaction Time. I also teach several classes at Ash Manor including Circuits and Spinning.

Other Qualifications: Indoor Cycling, Circuit training Instructor, Kettlebell Instructor Training, Core Lifts training, Advanced Nutrition, Level 3 Sport Qualification. 

History: Aspiring personal trainer with a year of experience in the fitness industry. Spent two years at Aldershot Town FC Academy and in my time learnt a lot about sport specific exercise and rehabilitation methods. Looking to use my own experiences in the gym with clients to help them move more efficiently and reach their goals. 

Interests: My main sporting interests are football and American football, and I also workout 4-5 times per week, which keeps me very active. I previously played for Aldershot Town and Ash United, but being a personal trainer is now my main focus. I also enjoy watching UFC and NBA. 

Specialities: Strength/muscular endurance/hypertrophy training, weight loss and toning, flexibility and postural correction. I also teach the HIIT and Fitball classes on a Monday, and the Bootcamp and Ab Attack classes on a Tuesday evening. All classes are suitable for people of all ages and skill levels, so come give it a try!

History: Health and fitness has always been my passion. I love to see results and motivate others to be the best version of themselves. Fitness has always been a big part of my life. 

Interests: My main interest is keeping fit and healthy through various forms of exercise. After having my baby my main focus has been core strength. I also enjoy long walks, running, and being out in the fresh air and nature and making memories with my family. 

Specialities: Strength, Core, Weight Loss, I teach Fit Ball on Sunday morning and Spinning on a Monday and Thursday evening.

What I do... I currently teach a variety of Gym Fast Classes which are suitable for any abilities – Why not book into one and see if it’s for you? I’m also currently training to be a Nutrition & Weight Management Adviser and hope to start my own clinic.

Interests... I’m a keen runner and love doing OCR’s like Tough Mudder. You will also more than likely see me at the local Brutal running races - If there is a medal at the finish line I’m there! I also can be found on a muddy pitch throwing a rugby ball around. I enjoy watching Boxing and Athletics (An odd mixture!).

Specialities... Kettlebells and Functional training for all abilities. I love to incorporate kettlebells into workouts for conditioning and to add variety. I like to use functional movement patterns as these are the fundamental movements we use in day to day life.
