Outdoor Activities at Gwyn Evans

We’ve long known that a breath of clean air works wonders on our respiratory systems and that sunlight generates vitamin D – the vitamin essential to healthy bones. These outdoor activities are a great way to get active, get outdoors and soak up some sun! (Don't forget your sun cream)

Couch - 5K

Have you always wanted to be able to run?

Running is the perfect, cost effective way to stay fit, get fresh air and lose weight. It can be done any time in almost any weather and all you need is a pair of trainers! 

Our couch -5K running group is the perfect way to get into running on a regular basis. With easy intervals and individual goals anybody can get in to running. Once you've started the sky really is the limit.

Run Club

Running with friends isn't work at all!

Already an avid runner... This class is for you. Let us take the stress out of choosing new routes and trying to keep things interesting. We'll take you through the lovely Alyn Waters country park and challenge you to be fitter, faster and stronger.

Multi Use Games Area (MUGA)

Floodlit hard surface area suitable for basketball, netball, football and hockey.

The MUGA'S high level fencing keeps balls in the pitch and allows for safe viewing.

In built football and basketabll goals mean that there is no need for hevy lifting.

Tennis Courts

During summer months we have tennis courts available. Net's are provided. Natural light is needed to play. 

An excellent place to begin playing tennis wether you are six or sixty.

Make sure that you wear appropriate footwear and clothing when taking part in any sport. If you are unsure what to wear please contact 01978 269540 for advice.
