Adult Swim
Our adult swim sessions are available to customers 16+ only to swim for fun or fitness.
Lane Swim
Our lane swim sessions are available for customers 16+ to swim lanes in our main pool.
Family Swim
Family fun swim session. One adult must accompany the child in the water.
Free Swim
In partnership with Sport Wales and the Welsh Government, the Free-Swimming Initiative aims to get young people (under 17) and over 60’s more aquatically active.
50+ Swim
Our 50+ swim sessions are available to customers 50+ only to swim for fun or fitness.
Aqua Aerobics
Aerobics session in the pool that helps you to maintain and improve stamina, strength and suppleness.
Early Risers Swim
Every week, Monday-Friday, between 6.30am-7.30am, our pool is open to our customers who want an early morning swim.
Swim Club
A non-competitive swim club for intermediate swimmers and above. Work on strokes, learn how to do starts, and turns and dives.
Watermania
A fun floats session for children and families.
What's Included
Main Pool
The main pool is 25m x 10m creating four lanes. This allows for general swimming, lessons and our variety of swim-based activities.
Flume Slide
The Flash boasts an exciting 30ft flume slide - a must-do activity to keep your children entertained and enjoy some family fun.
Rapids Ride
Check out and ride the rapids - a Flash family favourite.
Paddling & Beach Areas
The Flash has some lovely paddling and indoor beach areas, perfect for new swimmers or if you just want to relax.
Spa Pool
Did you know?

The Flash Leisure Centre has individual showers, wet and dry changing areas, and lockers - just remember to bring 20p for locker use!

Our café is the ideal place to meet your friends and relax after your workout or just sit and read your favourite book. We offer a large selection of hot and cold drinks and food for you to enjoy.

No, you do not require a membership to visit the centre, however, it is advised as this gives you access to additional benefits.
Our swimming pool is open everyday with swimming lessons, family swim sessions, adult only lane swimming and much more all available. Please see the swimming timetable for more information.
The gym is open 06:15- 21:30 Monday - Friday and 08:15 - 15:45 on Weekends.
Yes, parking is available onsite at no cost.
We have a wide range of classes so you are bound to find the right one to suit you. You can be sure that you’ll have a great time building your fitness and improving your self-confidence. We have over 50 instructor-led classes per week. These include Mummy and Me Kettles, Metafit, Pilates, Pure Stretch, and many more!
You can book through reception or book online with a valid membership.Members can book up to 7-days in advance. Non-members can book within 24-hours.
Yes. We run a fantastic junior swim school programme and a fabulous adult swim school programme. Swimming is a fundamental life skill that everyone should have the opportunity to develop and help them stay safe near the water.
Yes, there are several bus stops that are within walking distance of the centre, as well as a train station that is 0.9 miles (18 minute walk) from the centre.
Yes, we have a Cafe in which we serve "proud to serve Costa Coffee" drinks, hot and cold beverages and food, as well as vending machines.
We offer junior fitness memberships for Under 16's and full memberships are available for 16 and above.
