Adult Swim
Our adult swim sessions are available to customers 16+ only to swim for fun or fitness.
Lane Swim
Our lane swim sessions are available for customers to swim lanes in our main pool.
Open Swim
Our open swim sessions are recommended for swimmers of all ages and abilities in both our main and teaching pools.
Free Swim
In partnership with Sport Wales and the Welsh Government, the Free-Swimming Initiative aims to get young people (under 17) and over 60’s more aquatically active.
Aqua Aerobics
Aerobics session in the pool that helps you to maintain and improve stamina, strength and suppleness.
Aqua Natal
Bespoke water-based exercise for expectant and new mothers. Extremely beneficial both mentally and physically.
Members-Only
Every week, Monday-Friday, between 6.30am-7.00am, our pool is open to our members only.
Floats & Fun
A fun floats session for children and families.
Pool Hire
Brecon Leisure Centre swimming pool is available to hire for a range of events including birthday parties, galas, school swimming and more!
What's Included
Main Pool
The main pool is 25m x 10m with a 1m shallow end sloping to a 3.5m deep end. This allows for general swimming and our variety of swim-based activities.
Teaching Pool
The teaching pool is 12m x 7.5m which allows for swim lessons to be offered to a range of swimming abilities.
Flume Slide
Brecon boasts an exciting medium rated flume slide - a must-do activity to keep your children entertained and enjoy some family fun.

No, you do not require a membership to visit the centre, however, it is advised as this gives you access to additional benefits.
Our swimming pool is open everyday with swimming lessons, family swim sessions, adult only lane swimming and much more all available. Please see the swimming timetable for more information.
The gym is open 06:30 - 22:00 Monday-Thursday, 06.30-21.00 Fridays, and 08:00 - 16:00 on Weekends. Members can also access the gym between 06.00-06.30 Monday-Friday.
Yes, parking is available at no cost.
We have a wide range of classes so you are bound to find the right one to suit you. You can be sure that you’ll have a great time building your fitness and improving your self-confidence. We have over 30 instructor-led classes per week. These include Freedom Bootcamp, Legs, Bums and Tums, Kettlebells, Pilates, Aquarobics and many more!

Yes. We run a fantastic junior swim school programme and a fabulous adult swim school programme. Swimming is a fundamental life skill that everyone should have the opportunity to develop and help them stay safe near the water.
Yes, there are several bus stops that are within walking distance of the centre.
Yes, we have a Cafe in which we serve Fairtrade Eros Coffee drinks, hot and cold beverages and food, as well as vending machines.
We offer junior fitness memberships for Under 16's and full memberships are available for 16 and above.
