NERS - Health Referrals
The National Exercise Referral scheme is designed to help inactive adults, who are at risk of poor health or have a pre-existing condition, to become more active. The scheme allows health professionals to refer patients for a supervised programme of physical activity.
Teen Toners are supervised gym sessions for ages 11-15 year olds. We aim to instil the importance of staying fit and healthy into our younger customers.
Our fully qualified, friendly colleagues are on hand to guide you through the equipment and help you achieve your goals and aspirations.
Pay & Play
Not ready to commit to a month's membership? We've got you! You can pay as you go at any of our Powys centres, however, if you start using us more than once a week membership may work out more cost effective for you.

Brecon Leisure Centre has individual showers, wet and dry changing areas, and lockers - just remember to bring 20p for locker use!

No, you do not require a membership to visit the centre, however, it is advised as this gives you access to additional benefits.
Our swimming pool is open everyday with swimming lessons, family swim sessions, adult only lane swimming and much more all available. Please see the swimming timetable for more information.
The gym is open 06:30 - 22:00 Monday-Thursday, 06.30-21.00 Fridays, and 08:00 - 16:00 on Weekends. Members can also access the gym between 06.00-06.30 Monday-Friday.
Yes, parking is available at no cost.
We have a wide range of classes so you are bound to find the right one to suit you. You can be sure that you’ll have a great time building your fitness and improving your self-confidence. We have over 30 instructor-led classes per week. These include Freedom Bootcamp, Legs, Bums and Tums, Kettlebells, Pilates, Aquarobics and many more!

Yes. We run a fantastic junior swim school programme and a fabulous adult swim school programme. Swimming is a fundamental life skill that everyone should have the opportunity to develop and help them stay safe near the water.

Yes, we have a Cafe in which we serve Fairtrade Eros Coffee drinks, hot and cold beverages and food, as well as vending machines.
We offer junior fitness memberships for Under 16's and full memberships are available for 16 and above.
