Swimming is a healthy and fun activity that can be enjoyed by people of any age and ability. Our 25 metre pool provides the ideal setting for perfecting your stroke or taking part in one of our Aqua Aerobics sessions, while our 12 metre teaching pool offers a safe environment for young swimmers to develop their skills and enjoy some splash-filled fun!

Lane Swimming
Our swimming facilities have something for everyone. The pools are open throughout the day offering slow, medium or fast lanes. Perfect for improving your fitness, whatever your level. And there’s no need to book your swim in advance!
Aqua Classes
Our Aqua fit classes range from Aqua Aerobics, Hydro Spin to Health Referral classes in the water. Whether you’re living with a health condition or if you fancy a challenge in our deep water aerobics class, there really is a class to suit everyone! You can book as a member 14 days in advance or non-members 3 days in advance.
Family Swimming
Bring the family along for lots of splashing fun in both our main pool and teaching pool. It's a great way for the family to spend quality time together. Look for the open swim sessions on our timetable. No need to book.
Swimming Lessons
A fantastic experience that opens up new possibilities, supporting confidence, enjoyment and safety in the water. We offer swimming lessons from birth right through to adults with our Swim England Learn to Swim Pathway.
Swim Parties
Looking for a great venue for your child’s next party? Book a Splash Party in the small pool or a Mega Splash Party in the main pool. Or choose our Inflatable Party, a fun-filled standalone option where kids can enjoy our exciting inflatable for a celebration they’ll never forget.
SEND Swimming Sessions
In partnership with Active Sussex, we offer sessions that provide a relaxed, friendly and inclusive environment for children with SEND and their families to enjoy swimming together. Held in our shallow pools, these quieter sessions are ideal for fun, building water confidence, and feeling supported. Sessions take place on Wednesdays from 9:15am - 10am (pre-school session) and Saturdays from 11:30am - 12:30pm. Book this session by contacting reception.
Freedom Shop
Our Freedom Shop offers a variety of Zoggs swimwear for the whole family, including goggles, arm bands, swim nappies, swim toys and more.

Our Swim Only Membership is perfect for those who love to get in the water. Members enjoy access to the swimming pools at Arun Leisure Centre and Littlehampton Wave, giving you the opportunity to swim at both locations. We have lockers and accessible changing facilities on site. Our lockers take £1 coins. Please note that trolley tokens do not work with our lockers.
Yes, we have free parking on site at Arun Leisure Centre.
No advance booking is necessary, however on days when the pools are particularly busy, we may implement a one in one out system.
Yes, our teaching pool features a water slide.
The main pool is 1 metre deep at the shallow end and 2.1 metres at the deep end. The teaching pool is 0.5 metres at the shallow end and 1 metre at the deep end.
As well as our Swim Only membership, we also offer Unlimited membership which grants you unlimited access to both Arun swimming pool and Littlehampton Wave. We also offer Junior membership and Joint membership. See the Memberships page for full details.
