Crash Course Swimming Lessons
Build confidence, improve technique and make faster progress with our focused swimming courses and workshops at Arc, Derbyshire Dales. Choose from four-day crash courses, stroke-specific workshops or flexible one-to-one lessons.
Crash Course: Stages 1 & 2
Ideal for swimmers working through the early Learn to Swim stages, this four-day course includes a focused 30-minute lesson each day. Sessions run from 9:00 to 9:30 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. £40 per person.
Crash Course: Stages 3 & 4
Designed for swimmers ready to strengthen their skills and progress through Stages 3 and 4, this four-day course offers a 30-minute lesson each day. Sessions run from 9:30 to 10:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. £40 per person.
Front Crawl Workshop
Improve your body position, breathing and stroke efficiency in this focused front crawl workshop. The session takes place on Monday from 10:0m to 11:00 and costs £12.
Backstroke Workshop
Develop a smoother, more confident backstroke with expert guidance on technique and control. The session takes place on Tuesday from 10:00am to 11:00am and costs £12 .
Breaststroke Workshop
Refine your timing, kick and overall breaststroke technique in this dedicated workshop. The session takes place on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 and costs £12.
Butterfly Workshop
Build confidence in butterfly and work on rhythm, coordination and technique in a supportive session. The workshop takes place on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 and costs £12.
One-to-One Swimming Lessons
For personalised support, one-to-one swimming lessons are available as needed from Monday to Saturday. These sessions can be tailored to individual goals, whether that means building water confidence, improving a specific stroke or preparing for the next swimming stage.
