Freedom Leisure, who operates leisure centres in partnership with Stafford Borough Council is delighted to announce that one of its health referral groups called “Water Warriors” at Stafford Leisure Centre has been named as a finalist in the prestigious BBC Radio Stoke “Make a Difference” Awards.

Freedom Leisure, the not-for-profit leisure trust managing leisure centres on behalf of Derbyshire Dales District Council, is highlighting the success of its Outswimming Cancer programme at Arc Leisure Matlock after participants praised the sessions for helping them stay active, build confidence and connect with others affected by cancer.
