When will the transfer of operator happen?
The transfer from Freedom Leisure to Everyone Active (EA) will commence on Monday 1 December 2025.
What does this change mean for me?
Essentially everything you love about your centre will remain the same, especially the staff team and programmes. From 1st December there will be changes including new signage, new staff uniform, new websites and new booking system. Everyone Active will communicate all the changes in due course.
Are the staff/instructors going to be the same?
Yes, all the great staff that have served you in the past will remain. Please bear with them as they change the systems and procedures that may be new to them and we thank you for your patience and understanding throughout the transfer.
Will the centres be closed at any point during the transfer?
No, we are not envisaging any closures.
Will the opening hours and timetables for the centres change?
The centre opening hours will remain as they are currently and all timetables will be the same post transfer.
Will I be able to pay in cash?
From Friday 28th November, the centre will turn cashless so will only be able to accept card payments.
I currently book online or through the App? Will this be affected by the transfer?
Yes, the Freedom Leisure App and our online booking systems will not be available from 1st Everyone Active will communicate the alternative booking arrangements in due course.
I am a member; will I be able to visit as normal from 1 December?
Yes, Everyone Active will have all your details. There maybe some disruption while systems etc. are made live. Everyone Active will communicate the alternative booking arrangements in due course.
I, or my children have swimming lessons at the leisure centres, will they be affected by the transfer?
No, please attend your lessons at the normal day/time.
I have a regular booking at the leisure centre, will this be affected by the transfer?
No, your details will be passed across to Everyone Active along with any advance bookings already in place and they will contact you in due course.
Who will be collecting my monthly direct debit?
There will be a change to Everyone Active on your direct debit collection however they will communicate any the changes to the direct debit process in due course.
I have an annual membership that I have paid for in advance. Will this be affected by the transfer?
If your annual membership gives you access to only the leisure centres in Woking then, no, your membership details have been passed to Everyone Active as part of the transfer process so you will be able to access the facilities for the duration of your membership as you do now.
If your annual membership gives you access to our leisure centres in Guildford e.g. Guildford Spectrum then access to the Guildford centres will cease from 1st December. We will be in contact with you shortly with further information on this.
I have access to Health Hero as part of my membership, will this continue?
No, access to Health Hero will cease from 1st December 2025.
