We are looking for a Children's Holiday Activities Supervisor to join our friendly and professional Freedom Leisure team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children, can lead a team with confidence and is not afraid to get involved in the activities on offer.
As Children's Holiday Activities Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring children have a safe, enjoyable and rewarding experience throughout their visit. You will supervise and work alongside a team of assistants, ensuring all staff work effectively and follow the centre's operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the team of staff on shift who assist in running the holiday club.
- Take overall responsibility for the daily operation of the club, including paperwork, child registrations and activity organisation.
- Ensure children enjoy a safe, engaging and fun environment.
- Lead by example and actively participate in activities where appropriate.
- Work closely with the Centre Manager and Holiday Club Manager to ensure the smooth running of the programme.
- Carry out all duties in accordance with the centre's Normal Operating Procedures (NOPs) and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs).
- Maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the operation of the club.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of work at all times.
- Respond to customer queries, comments and complaints promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure the welfare and safety of all children attending the club.

Requirements
- Enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about working with children.
- Comfortable supervising and motivating a team.
- Able to communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues.
- Organised with strong attention to detail.
- Committed to delivering a high-quality customer experience.
- A childcare qualification is desirable but not essential.
- An Enhanced DBS check will be carried out.
