Healthy Communities Worcester works with a wide range of local groups and national partners to get people of all ages and abilities more active across a range of programmes delivered in local communities and leisure facilities. Working on behalf of Worcester City Council, and with local organisations including Active Herefordshire & Worcestershire, Worcester Community Trust, Disability Sport Worcester, Worcester Play Council, HE & FE institutes, HOW College, Worcester Sixth Form College, University of Worcester, Badminton England, Swim England and Street Games.

We support local athletes & clubs through our Worcester Sporting Grants Scheme to help them with their training and club development.

We provide sessions to all demographics of people in the Worcester City community, with different disability, youth and health sessions being run all week. To find out more information please take a look around our website and social media.
All Active Communities sessions and Health sessions here at Perdiswell Leisure Centre are bookable by ringing our reception team, or by coming to the desk on the day of the session. In turn, for your first session we look to provide people with a free taster opportunity to allow them the chance to get a feel for whether it is for them or not.
