Become a volunteer

At Freedom Leisure we are excited to offer volunteering opportunities across our leisure, culture and entertainment venues.

Our aim is to provide high quality accessible services in the communities we serve, our programmes are wide ranging and reach many parts of our local communities. Volunteers play a key role to support these sessions, with roles in our leisure centres ranging from Activity Helpers for sport and swimming to being a Welcome Host to provide support to customers new and old to help them feel welcome and supported in our facilities.

Our volunteer roles are designed for those aged 16+, they are flexible and offer short term and longer term opportunities. Each volunteer will receive a full induction and training programme to carry out their role, our centres offer a supportive, friendly and safe environment.

Please note: that work experience or work placements need to contact centres directly, we cannot process these requests through this channel.
