Little Kites Club
Staff at Llandrindod Wells Sports Centre are keen to get kids moving and are set to launch new kids’ activity club.
As part of the not-for-profit leisure trust, Freedom Leisure, staff at Llandrindod Wells Sports Centre are keen to get kids moving. Freedom Leisure Powys’ upcoming Little Kites Club will help children learn how to run, hop, balance, kick, catch and more, as well as develop the confidence to be active.
“Fun. Play. Explore. That’s what physical activity should be for children in their early years. They will love every minute of it.”
Maggie Trainor, Sport and Active Communities Development Officer
Little Kites Club is a 6-week programme for children aged 3-6 years old, set to start Saturday 18th June, 9.30am – 10.30am at Llandrindod Wells Sports Centre for only £20.
Through a range of fun and engaging activities, your child will develop fundamental movement skills, improve their physical literacy and become a confident and competent mover. Little Kites Club is about allowing your child to nurture a love of physical activity, one that will, quite literally, benefit them for life.
“We are excited to be launching our new children’s activity programme, Little Kites Club, this June. We’re hoping that the kids will have fun whilst developing their motor skills through physical activity and games.”
Richard Gealy, General Manager of South Powys
Children are to be accompanied by an adult. Both parent and child can also stay after the session and enjoy a swim for just £2.
