Thank you to our staff

A huge thank you must also go to the Freedom Ashford staff, whose dedication, teamwork and passion brought the Freedom Leisure Hero Awards 2026 to life. From planning and logistics to delivery on the night, your hard work behind the scenes did not go unnoticed. A special moment...

A special moment...

We were incredibly honoured to be presented with a LifeVac, generously donated by Lewis and Zoe - founders of The Oliver Steeper Foundation.

This lifesaving piece of equipment will be kept on site at the Stour Centre and provides an additional layer of protection for our customers, colleagues, and community.

In a busy leisure environment where families, children, and vulnerable people visit every day, having access to emergency equipment like this could quite literally make the difference between life and death.

We are deeply grateful to Lewis and Zoe for their kindness, generosity, and commitment to improving safety in community spaces. Donations like this remind us how powerful community support can be, and how working together helps keep everyone safer.
