Additional Needs Family Swimming Sessions
A specialised, quieter pool session for families with SEN children including sensory toys. These sessions are held at Chard Leisure Centre, Goldenstones Leisure Centre and Wincanton Sports Centre.

Xplorer
Xplorer is a family-fun navigational challenge following a map to explore the Country Park outside Goldenstones Leisure Centre in Yeovil. Hunt down the markers to complete the challenge and learn fun facts as you go!

The whole family were involved. Us as parents had to use our skill of mapping reading & then our 3 year old had to look for the hidden animals as they were not completely obviously. Plus they were at perfect eye sight range for him. He found more than we did. The facts on the animal cards were interesting. It was a good activity for the whole family. The time spent on the trail was perfect too; it kept my son entertained the whole time, without him losing interest. The loop from start to finish was great for parents, as it gave you a sense of time i.e in the event a child did loose interest you could say what distance was still to cover to completion.
