A new course for men at Littlehampton Wave

Mind and Body Stretch-ability is a 6 week course created to support both physical movement and mental wellbeing. This men only session focuses on gentle exercise that helps you feel more comfortable in your body while also encouraging calm and focus in the mind. The session is welcoming, relaxed and suitable for anyone who would like to move more, stretch safely and take some time to unwind.

Breath, movement and strengthening exercises

Each session begins with simple breath control techniques designed to calm and focus the mind. The class then moves into gentle mobilisation exercises that help loosen the major muscles and joints, followed by stretch based movements that encourage flexibility. Light weights are used to support strengthening exercises, and simple activities are included to help build stamina. All exercises are designed to be gentle and adaptable so participants can move at a comfortable pace. Each class finishes with a dedicated relaxation period. This quiet time allows the body to recover and the mind to reset, helping you leave the session feeling calm, refreshed and renewed.
