Our Outwimming Cancer sessions take place every Wednesday between 1pm-2pm (excluding school holidays) at our Arc Leisure Matlock Centre. We reserve two lanes in the main pool for the group and it really is up to yourself how much you would like to do. Feel free to use the support of our dedicated swim teacher who assists the session from the side of the pool, and can make recommendations if you want to work on something specific.
Attendees come along for all sort of different reasons, with some sharing their stories and having a chat in the shallow end, to others who would prefer to swim lengths all session long, it really is about what you find comfortable. Booking is recommended as the sessions are increasing in capacity and it allows us time to make sure we provide enough space for participants.
