As well as being a great form of cardiovascular exercise, swimming just 30 minutes a week can help to guard against heart disease, stroke and type 2 diabetes.
Pool in the Park offers lane swimming during all public swimming times in the Competition Pool plus these additional sessions:

Early morning swimming
from 6.00am weekdays.

Adults only swimming
Mondays 2.30pm-4.00pm, 7.30pm-10.00pm,
Wednesdays 2.30pm-4.00pm,
Thursdays 8.00-9.00pm
Fridays 8.30pm-10.00pm (last date 27 October),
Sundays 3.30pm-4.30pm.

Ladies only swimming
Saturdays 5.00pm.-6.00pm

You can also enjoy Swimfit - lane swimming with an instructor leading and/or target cards to help you progress.

  • Thursdays 7.00pm
