The gym at Woking Leisure Centre offers state of the art equipment including a wide range of free weights, cardiovascular machines and workout stations as well as on-hand help and support from our experienced personal trainers.
Whatever your age, experience or level of fitness, we will tailor an exercise programme to help you achieve your goals - and have fun at the same time!
The gym is available on a pay as you go basis or if you work out on a regular basis, we have fantastic membership packages on offer that can save you money!

Gym Classes
Gym classes are small group workouts led by one of the fitness instructors using equipment in the gym. These sessions are ideal for people wanting change up their workout, target specific areas and enjoy the motivation and encouragement found in group workouts.

Gym membership Woking
Most people have a specific reason to join the gym. Whether that's to lose weight, tone up or just generally feel fitter and healthier. Using the gym is not only very satisfying, it also boosts your energy levels and can improve your self-esteem.
Here at Woking Leisure Centre, we have two fantastic membership packages on offer.

Junior Gym Sessions
10-13 years: 45-minute gym sessions supervised by a fitness instructor
- Monday-Friday 4.00pm-7.00pm, Weekends 9.00am-2.00pm
- School Holidays (Monday-Friday) & Bank Holidays 9.00am-7.00pm
- Sessions start on the hour and are bookable up to seven days in advance
- Initial induction and orientation
- No free weights
14-15 years: Access during normal gym opening times - no sessions/bookings
- Learn to Lift course must be completed before using free weights
- Initial induction and orientation

You don’t have to be a member to use the gym, however if you’re a regular visitor, one of our monthly / annual memberships can save you money and grant you access to other Freedom Leisure gyms too! Speak to one of the memberships team on 01483 743120 and they’ll be happy to discuss the different options with you. You can also visit our Membership page for more information.
All gym users must complete a health declaration form prior to their first workout
The gym is open for everyone during centre hours. Please note that last admission is 30 minutes before closing.

Yes, our Freedom café sells a range of hot and cold drinks and snacks and is a great place to relax and unwind after a workout.
Comfortable and breathable clothing is always best, along with trainers that provide suitable non-slip support. Avoid long, dangling jewellery that may get caught in the equipment and we would recommend that long hair is tied back.
We have a selection of high quality, good value clothing available to purchase at main reception.
