Woking Weightlifting Club has been running since 1976 and is an official club affiliated with British Weight Lifting. Learn the skill and complexity of the Olympic lifts while giving your whole body a muscular and cardiovascular workout – both the ‘snatch’ and the ‘clean and jerk’ will work your legs, back, shoulders and core! You’ll feel the benefit in improved strength, power and flexibility. Olympic lifting develops a wider range of physical abilities than traditional weight training and transfers well to the performance of other sports.
We’re open to all ages and abilities. Our current members span from ages 13-80. First session is free. Call: 01932 705359 or email: email@example.com for more info.
