Woking Weightlifting Club has been running since 1976 and is an official club affiliated with British Weight Lifting. Learn the skill and complexity of the Olympic lifts while giving your whole body a muscular and cardiovascular workout – both the ‘snatch’ and the ‘clean and jerk’ will work your legs, back, shoulders and core! You’ll feel the benefit in improved strength, power and flexibility. Olympic lifting develops a wider range of physical abilities than traditional weight training and transfers well to the performance of other sports.

Martial X Academy is an exciting new style of Martial Arts & Stunt Training Club!
Set up by stuntman Lewis Young, our lessons feature kickboxing, life skills, stunt training, martial gymnastics and forms and tricking! Our lessons are action packed and there's something for everyone - also making sure that we are passing on valuable life lessons along the way including traffic safety, stranger awareness, anti-bullying and lots more. All age groups have weekly topics as well on confidence, always being the best you can be, listening, discipline, focus and all the good stuff you're teaching them at home!
We are open all year round, only closing for Bank Holidays and Christmas. We have classes at Woking Leisure Centre on a Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Everyone is welcome down for a free taster session - just let us know when you would like to book in!

The practice of Aikido is a style of martial art conceived by the founder, Morihei Ueshiba. Aikido involves the practice of one on one and multiple attack defence in conjunction with weapons training.
Practice is co-operative not competitive allowing the student to harmoniously learn potentially damaging techniques safely.
