Badminton is a great sport for all ages and abilities and because it’s played indoors, you can play all year round, whatever the weather! If you’re looking for a fantastic venue to practise your drop shot or perfect that killer serve, why not book one of our badminton courts today? You don’t need to be a member and we have rackets available for hire too!
How to book a badminton court
- Badminton courts can be booked via our booking page or by calling 01483 771122.
- A maximum of two consecutive court bookings is permitted.
- Badminton courts are bookable up to seven days in advance.
- Please report to reception on arrival and remember to bring your key card to validate your booking.

You just need a racket and a shuttlecock and you’re good to go! If you don’t have your own, we have rackets to hire and shuttlecocks to buy here at the centre.
Badminton is a racket sport played by two or four players on a rectangular court divided by a net. Players score points by hitting a shuttlecock over the net and landing it in the opponent’s court. The first player or pair to reach 21 points with a two-point lead wins the game. A match consists of the best of three games.
