Junior Tennis Lessons in Brighton
Tennis is a fun sport to play whatever your age. You’re never too young or too old to get involved. (Fun fact - Andy Murray was three when he first started playing!) This is why we have tennis lessons for children aged three and upwards. The sessions we offer here at Withdean include:
- Diddy Tennis - coached parent and child club for 3 to 5 year olds
- Tennis Mini Red - LTA's first level of fun mini tennis introducing 5 to 8 year olds to the ABC's - Agility; Balance; Coordination.
- Tennis Mini Orange - LTA's second progression of mini tennis for 8 to 10 year olds
- Tennis Mini Green - LTA's final mini tennis stage for 10 to 12 year olds. It’s big court time and you're ready to go!
- Turbo Tennis - full court teenage tennis for 12 to 18 year olds turned up to the max.
Adult Tennis Lessons in Brighton
We offer a range of morning, afternoon and evening tennis lessons for adults and welcome everyone of all abilities. Take a look at our timetable for details on the follow sessions:
- Tennis Adult Beginners/Improvers - our coaches will help you learn or rediscover the basics and build up your confidence.
- Tennis Adult Intermediate - get court-coached sessions for racquet addicts keen to improve their skills and step it up a gear.
- Tennis Adult Drills Advanced - Fast paced drills session to improve competitive tactics, technique and fitness. Drop-in for advanced players.
In addition, we also offer Cardio tennis - a series of tennis-based drills and group activities played to up-tempo music run by a qualified tennis coach. It’s not about refining your tennis skills, but is all about keeping your heart rate up, improving fitness levels and having fun!

Your coach will be able to give you comprehensive information regarding what will be covered in your training. However, you will cover aspects such as how to hold the racquet correctly and the basic stances for hitting forehand and backhand, along with generally getting used to serving and returning.
