Our new soft play combines a game themed zone for the older kids, alongside a sensory toddler zone for the little ones! There is also be a cafe area for adults to relax and enjoy a drink or nibble whilst the kids play. Come down today to check it our for yourself!

Frequently Asked Questions
The Level Up facility opens at 9am-7.30pm Monday to Friday and 9am-6pm Saturdays. There are sessions throughout the day lasting 1hr 30mins each.
There is the ability (with a purchased Level Up wristband) to take part in Treasure Hunt and Tag Colour Challenge games. Before school on weekdays the system will be set to enable children and parents to play Treasure Hunt and after 4pm weekdays and at weekends the play frame will be set up with for the Tag Colour Challenge games.
No, you do not need to use a wristband to enjoy the soft play, but if you wanted to enhance your child’s experience, then you can buy a wristband at reception to either participate in the Treasure Hunt or Tag Colour Challenge game modes
Treasure Hunt and Tag Challenge both use the 40 coloured tag transponders located throughout the play structure.
Treasure Hunt is typically for 3-7yr olds and Tag Challenge is for 8ys+, but any age can enjoy these sessions.
Tag Colour Challenge is a 5 colour points scoring challenge with each colour representing a different values. Who can get the highest score in a frantic 15min dash! Each Tag Colour Challenge game uses one credit.
Treasure Hunt mode is a more relaxed activity for younger children. Lasting 60mins, climb through the structure at your own pace collecting 8 of each of the following shapes; Stars, Rainbows, Hearts, Diamonds and Squares indicated on the 40 LED transponders. Uses one credit per session.
You can self register any wristband at the Tag hub on the ground floor seating area. The minimum requirements are First name, last name and DoB.
The Level Up Soft Play facility has been designed to appeal to children from babies up to 12 years, but we think adults might enjoy it too! There is a toddler area specifically for 0-3yrs and the main play frame caters for 3-12 years
Your score either in Treasure Hunt mode or Tag Colour Challenge is displayed on both the Tag Hub screen and the standalone TV screen on the lower ground floor.
Yes, once you have purchased and registered a wristband you can reuse it as often as you like, topping it up credits at the Level Up reception desk
You can pay to add credits to you wristband at the Level Up desk. You will need to have your wristband on you or given the name and DoB of the registered user in order to do so. Credits are £5 for 5.
No, although socks must be worn in the soft play. Socks are available to purchase from reception, but you can just use your normal socks if you like.
No, children in the Level Up Soft Play facility must always be supervised by a responsible adult unless they have been booked into the specific supervised U5s sessions.
Yes, please complete a birthday party booking form and speak to a member of the Level Up team to secure your booking
Yes, there are catered and self catered options for parties utilising the Party Zone rooms on the lower ground floor for food serving.
Yes. SEND sessions are offered on the programme where the capacity is reduced to provide a safe and fun environment for SEND children, families and groups. Please see programme for details
You can book a session online via the Freedom Leisure Withdean Sports Complex website (50p booking charge) which is the recommended option or over the phone and in person at reception (no booking charge)
There are accessible toilets available on both the ground and lower ground floor and an accessible lift to travel between floors. There are also baby changing tables in all 4 toilets which are also unisex.
Yes, subject to availability, group bookings can be arranged. Please speak to a member of the Level Up reception
