We want to help everyone from complete beginners to competitive swimmers from birth to 100 year olds.
Puddle Ducks
Puddle Ducks teaches children, from birth to 10 years, to swim independently, beautifully and confidently, and to love and respect the water. We teach essential life skills and water safety to over 19,000 babies, toddlers, pre-school and primary school children across the UK, every week.
Classes are packed full of fun - watch as your little one develops into a confident swimmer without even realising they are learning to swim! We recognise that every child is different; our expert teachers individually tailor activities to suit your child’s ability and confidence levels. We often see children achieving their 10m award before they start school.

You do not require a membership to book classes however it is advised as this gives you access to additional benefits.
We have a pay-&-display car park which can be paid for on the RingGO App. Members can also purchase a discounted annual permit from reception which can be used at all Wllen Lake Trust owned car parks.

Some children are more naturally competent and confident in the water and therefore will progress faster. Other children are slower to learn but can quite often become stronger and more proficient swimmers as they progress.
Each swimming lesson lasts 30 minutes.
The swimming pool at Willen Lake is 14 metres long and 6 metres wide.
Yes, we have lockers available in the changing rooms. To operate the lockers padlocks are required, and possessions must be stored in lockers during your visit. Padlocks are available to purchase from reception for £5.
Yes, we stock the main lines from our partner manufacturer Zoggs. We have goggles, swimsuits for all ages and other swimming aids such as floats and woggles. Please see our display in reception on arrival.
