Welcome to the gym

Totton Health and Leisure has over 50 stations of the latest Life Fitness equipment as well as a dedicated free weights area. The extensive cardio and strength range will ensure you can have an effective and enjoyable workout whilst our qualified instructors are on hand to help motivate, offer guidance and support. You can also work with one of our personal trainers for a more bespoke training experience.

fixed strength

We have 50 stations of the latest Life Fitness resistance equipment for you to choose from. Speak to a friendly member of our fitness team and they can show you around and explain how the equipment works. They can also design a bespoke fitness programme for you to help you achieve your fitness goals. 


Cardiovascular training keeps your heart and lungs healthy, strengthens bones and aids fat burning, making it a key part of any workout. Get your heart pumping using our top of the range machines that are both simple and fun to use, from treadmills, cross trainers to exercise bikes and more. Speak to a member of our fitness team to get started.

free weights area

Our dedicated free weights room has all the kit you'd expect to ensure you can get the most out your training. From half racks, bench press, leg press and lifting platforms, we are sure you'll have an amazing workout. 



personal training

Our personal trainers are fitness experts. Whatever your fitness goal - improved muscular definition, weight loss, strength training, sports specific, stress relief - or if you just need to get back on track and stay motivated, our personal trainers will work with you to achieve your goals and get results.

supervised times

Young people from the age of 12yrs are welcome in our gyms. Young persons under 16yrs are only permitted to use the gym if they are either accompanied by a user over the age of 18yrs or attend during the instructor supervised times (see below)

  • All gym users under 18yrs must attend an Induction before they are permitted to use the gym
  • Those under 16yrs attending an Induction must complete a Health Questionnaire which also needs to be signed by their parent before/on attending their gym induction.
  •  Some age restrictions apply as to what equipment young persons can use
