Swim Academy Newsletter – November 2025

Thank you to all our current and new swimmers for continuing to support our Swim Academy, we truly appreciate your commitment and enthusiasm.

We are excited to share a special offer as a way of saying thank you. If you choose to recommend a friend to join our swimming programme, we will reward you with a FREE MONTH OF MEMBERSHIP. This means you can enjoy a month of lessons at no cost, a saving of £38.00 for a 30-minute lesson or £43.50 for a 45-minute lesson.

It is a great opportunity to help a friend begin their swimming journey while you enjoy fantastic savings. There is no limit to the number of friends you can recommend, so feel free to spread the word and make the most of this offer.

What's New

Brand New Benefit

We are delighted to announce that we have added even more value to our Swim Academy membership by expanding our list of benefits.

All learners can now enjoy a FREE SESSION on our Large Pool Inflatable at Applemore, Lymington, or Ringwood when they reach Stage 6 of Swim Academy.

If you normally swim at New Milton or Totton, do not worry, you can still take advantage of this benefit by attending a session at any of our other participating centres.

Ringwood Refresh

Ringwood Health and Leisure is currently undergoing an exciting gym refresh, and we are pleased to share a little more about what is happening behind the scenes.

As part of this upgrade, the gym will be receiving brand new pieces of equipment, new lighting, updated ceiling tiles, and a fresh round of decorative improvements to create a brighter, more modern, and motivating environment.

These enhancements are all designed to make your visits more enjoyable, comfortable, and inspiring, whether you are a regular gym goer or just starting your fitness journey. 

Additional Aqua Classes

New Milton Health and Leisure is pleased to introduce a BRAND NEW Aqua Aerobics session to the timetable.

This energising class will now take place every Wednesday evening from 19:45 to 20:30, offering a fun, low impact workout that is perfect for improving fitness, strength, and mobility. 

We are excited to welcome both new and returning participants. Come along and make a splash with us on Wednesday evenings. 

Friendly Reminders

To help keep our Swim Academy running smoothly and ensure the best experience for all swimmers and families, please take a moment to read through the following friendly reminders:

All swimmers will now receive a swim hat to wear during their lesson. These must be worn at all times unless there is a medical reason not to. If you require an exemption, please email [email protected].

To help us keep entry running smoothly, please remember to bring your Membership Card with you. Our entrance gates rely on it for quick and easy access to the changing areas.

As we move into the rainy season, we kindly ask that you bring a spare pair of clean footwear for use in the changing rooms and remove any outdoor shoes. This helps us keep the floors clean and prevents mud and water from being brought inside.

Christmas Dates

Our final week of swimming lessons for the year will end on Sunday 21st December. We will then take a two week break over Christmas and New Year, with lessons resuming on Monday 5th January 2026.

To celebrate the end of the year, the week of Monday 15th December to Sunday 21st December will be our special Swim Academy Fun Week.

During these sessions, swimmers will enjoy a mix of regular lesson activities and festive fun in the pool, including large floats, balls, and water toys. It is a great opportunity for swimmers to relax, celebrate their progress, and enjoy a cheerful end to the term.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all our swimmers and their families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you for your continued support, we look forward to seeing you again in 2026.
