This is a fun and energetic aerobic fitness class featuring movements inspired by various styles of Latin American dance and performed primarily to Latin American dance music.
Yoga uses specific body postures and controlled positions, helping you to relax and to create better all-round health, for your mind body and soul.
This vibrant cycle class with funky music will get your heart pumping and you out of your seat. Our instructors incorporate shoulder drops and push ups to move your pedals to the beat.
This is a fun-filled energetic class in the pool where using water dumbbells and noodles against the water’s resistance will lift your heartrate.
RPM™ is a group indoor cycling workout where you control the intensity. With great music pumping and the group cycling as one, your instructor takes you on a journey of hill climbs, sprints and flat riding. In an RPM workout you repeatedly rotate the pedals to reach your cardio peak then ease back down, keeping pace with the pack to lift your personal performance and boost your cardio fitness.
This holistic, popular class focusses on building and developing your body's core strength. You will work on improving your posture using low impact stretching moves and conditioning exercises.
LBT (Legs, Bums & Tums)
LBT is a low impact class involving weights, bands and mat work to focus attention on these areas. We lunge and we squat to get the desired results!
A freestyle cycling class. Be it hill climbs and sprints or flat-out racing, an adrenaline filled class awaits you.
LES MILLS GRIT™ Strength takes cutting-edge HIIT and combines it with powerful music and inspirational coaches who will be down on the floor with you, motivating you to go harder to get fit, fast.
This is a no impact pool-based class where you use the water’s resistance, to lift your heart rate.
A great pool fitness class where you can choose to be in deep or shallow water. Our instructor will have you enjoying some dance-themed aerobic moves, all set to motivating music.
BODYSTEP™ is a full-body cardio workout to really tone your butt and thighs. You can expect a mixture of upbeat, rhythmic stepping, with squat and lunge patterns to work the legs. Combine this with movements like burpees, push ups and weight plate exercises for a fun, uplifting, full-body workout!
BODYPUMP™ is THE ORIGINAL BARBELL CLASS™, the ideal workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically-backed moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own!
BODYCOMBAT is a high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness. No experience needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira and Kung Fu. Release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ. Bring your best fighter attitude and leave inhibitions at the door.
Ideal for anyone and everyone, BODYBALANCE™ is a new generation yoga class that will improve your mind, your body and your life. Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will provide options for those new to the sessions.
BODYATTACK™ is a high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for absolute beginners to total addicts. It combines athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. Our instructors play energising tunes and lead you through the workout – challenging your limits in a good way, and leaving you with a sense of achievement.
Active for Life
This is a low impact circuits class designed specifically for those who are less mobile, to encourage physical activity. Our instructors also welcome customers who have had cardiac rehab and are looking to getting back to health and fitness.

Not at all! Members benefit from a wide range of exclusive offers and perks, however non-members are welcome to take part in fitness classes on a pay as you go basis.
Yes, we have classes running until 8:00pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Check out our timetable for a full list of all the classes we offer.
100% yes! Fitness classes can help you get fit and active, learn new skills, have fun and improve your health. They’re also a great social activity where you can get together with like-minded people and workout in a friendly, motivational environment.
This depends on your fitness goals, availability and motivation. As a general rule, we would suggest aiming for at least two classes a week. You can also mix and match different classes to work on different aspects of your fitness, so one day you could try a HIIT class to work on cardio and build muscle strength and another day go for something more holistic, such as Yoga or Pilates. The most important thing is to find fitness classes that work for you and that you enjoy.
If you have your own equipment such as a yoga mat or kettlebells, we recommend you bring these along to classes. We also suggest that you bring along your own water bottle and towel.
Yes, we have a café on site selling Costa coffee and a range of drinks and snacks – perfect for winding down after an exercise class!
Stour Centre has a Pay and Display car park. Members can get a limited parking session included if paid by cash. Just request a parking refund at reception.
