Our Healthy Communities Team in Ashford
We want to support the health of the nation enabling people to live longer, happier and healthier lives.
As a not-for-profit charitable leisure trust, supporting individuals and communities to be more active and healthier is at the heart of everything we do. We believe in 'health at all ages'; we want the local communities we serve to have fun, feel welcome, included and empowered to live healthy lives.

| We have a wide range of classes so you are bound to find the right one to suit you. You can be sure that you’ll have a great time building your fitness and improving your self-confidence. These include Body Combat, Body Pump, Yoga, Body Balance, Hiit, Indoor Cycling, Pilates, Aqua Fit and many more! |
| We have a Cafe which we serve Costa Coffee drinks from as well as vending machines. |
| We offer junior fitness memberships from age 13 - 15 and full memberships are available from age 16. |

Travelling to our centre is easy, and there are many different eco-friendly options available to help you get here! We are committed to supporting sustainable travel and reducing our carbon footprint. Here’s how you can help:
Green Travel Options:
Walking & Cycling: The Stour Centre is easily accessible on foot or by bike. We have dedicated bike racks available for secure parking, which are located in the underground car park near the lifts. Walking or cycling not only reduces your carbon footprint but also promotes a healthy lifestyle.
Public Transport: Several bus and train routes stop near our centre, making it convenient to travel sustainably. Check with your local public transport providers for the latest schedules and routes. The Stour Centre is situated just opposite Ashford International train station.
Car sharing: If driving is necessary, consider sharing a car with friends or family. Fewer cars on the road reduce emissions, and parking spaces are shared efficiently. We have a pay-&-display car park, and members get a limited parking session included if paid by cash. Just request a parking refund at reception.
