Why take part in fitness classes?
Possibly the best thing about group exercise is the fact it is led by a professional. Unlike going solo in the gym or at home, attending a class is the next best thing to having a personal trainer, making it a really affordable way to spend time with someone who can help you achieve your fitness and better body goals.
Not only that, it’s a lot of fun, with an added social element to keep you motivated to return week after week and remain active for longer.

No membership is required to enrol in fitness classes and anyone can attend on a pay as you go basis. However, members do benefit from a wide range of benefits so we would always recommend becoming a member to take advantage of our great offers.

Yes, we have classes running until 9:00pm on Mondays and 8:30pm on Tuesdays. Check out our timetable for a full list of all the classes we offer.
All our fitness classes take place at Pemberton Centre, H.E Bates Way, Rushden, NN10 9YP.
Absolutely! Fitness classes offer structured routines, motivation and social interaction, all led by trained instructors who can help you achieve better results. They can improve your cardiorespiratory fitness, which helps lower your risk of many diseases, and release endorphins which boost your mood and improve energy levels.
This depends on your fitness goals, availability and motivation. Generally, we would recommend aiming for at least two classes a week. You can also mix and match different exercise classes to work on different aspects of your fitness, so one day you could try a weights-based class to build muscle strength and another day go for something more holistic, such as Tai Chi or Pilates. The most important thing is to find a fitness class that you enjoy.
