Swimming is one of the best exercises that can be undertaken while pregnant. For all trimesters of pregnancy , swimming is safe and provides a low impact exercise with excellent cardiovascular benefits and a low risk of injury.

Swimming can also help with sleep, relaxing muscles and helping to burn excess pregnancy calories.

Benefits of antenatal swimming:

  • Enhances wellbeing – feel light, agile and relaxed
  • Keeps the body to be fit and healthy
  • Eases lower back strain
  • Reduces fluid retention and swelling
  • Improves posture, co-ordination and balance

Our instructor Emma, will give you the confidence to gently exercise during your pregnancy, show you how to relax in the water. It is also a chance for you to meet other mothers to be. The session is for 45minutes and costs £45.86 per 6 week block.

We require you to complete a PAR-Q form before commencing the session, which is reviewed by Emma. The disclosed information will be treated in the strictest confidence.
