A variety of classes suitable for complete non-swimmers, building basic water skills and supporting those who need to work on their stamina.
Lessons run 50 weeks of the year on all weekday afternoons and on Saturday mornings.

We also have a variety of classes available as crash courses, including beginners, improvers – synchronised swimming and water polo. These typically run during school holidays. Please contact us to find out when our next Crash Course will be running and to book your child in.
We follow Swim England's Learn to Swim pathway
We work in partnership with Swim England to deliver a high quality Learn to Swim Programme for all ages and abilities.
All our instructors are experienced and fully trained to deliver the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme and are fully DBS checked.

Learn to Swim is the national syllabus produced by Swim England to assist and support the delivery of swimming lessons.
Our lessons are led by our Swim England qualified swimming teachers and each class can accommodate a maximum of 10 swimmers. We will provide a variety of different fun-based activities to help the swimmers learn new skills and throughout the lesson the teacher will provide feedback and instruction to help each individual swimmer develop.
Some children are more naturally competent and confident in the water and therefore will progress faster. Other children are slower to learn new skills but can quite often become stronger more proficient swimmers as they progress.
No, our 50 week swimming lessons receive FREE public swimming at the site they attend swimming lessons.
No, any Oxted-based swimming lessons offered at Tandridge Leisure Centre do not run on bank holidays and you will not be charged for these.
The swimming pool at Tandridge Leisure Centre is 25 metres long.
Our swimming lessons take place at Tandridge Leisure Centre, Hoskins Road, Oxted, RH8 9HT. We also offer swimming lessons at our sister site de Stafford Leisure Centre.
