New Covid-19 gym procedures

In light of the Covid-19 outbreak we have been working hard to introduce new protocols to ensure all gym users are safe whilst using the gym. Below is a brief guide to what you can expect when you come back to the gym.

We kindly ask for all customers to sanitise their hands on entry to the facilitiy. 

You can come to gym any time duroing our opening hours without booking, you will need to sign in at reception s we have a record of your visit for track and trace purposes. 

Gym equipment has been spaced out to ensure 2m social distancing can be maintained. 

We have moved some kit out of the gym into the nearby upstairs studio to allow us to keep more kit in use whilst still maintaining social distancing. 

Customers are asked to wipe down the equipment after use.

hygiene stations have been strategically placed throughout the centre for regular sanitising of your hands. 

Staff will be going around the gym and cleaning all gym kit every hour to ensure it is sanitised regulalrly and safe for use. 

Toilets and Changing rooms including showers are now available. there is a maximum of 3 users at a time and masks must be worn. staff will also be cleaning all touch points hourly to ensure they are sanitised and safe for use.

We ask that you wear a mask while navigating common areas and pnly remove your mask while using the gym, eating or drinking in the Cafe. Masks may be worn when training if you wish but this is not manditory and will not be enforced on site.

youth gym (11 – 13yrs)

Our Youth gym offers the opportunity for young people to become confident within a gym environment, whilst improving their health and fitness as well as their knowledge.
It is suitable for young people of all abilities and experience, with tailored programmes aimed at improving fitness levels. All sessions are supervised by a qualified Gym Instructor. An excellent way to burn energy, whilst making new friends and socialising! Speak to our Reception or Fitness team for more information and prices.

Sessions take place on Mondays, Wednesdays
& Fridays 4 – 5pm*
*A youth gym induction must be completed before attending any session which a parent/guardian must attend.

If you would like a gym Orientation we would be happy to book one in for you. Our instructor will cover all of the important health and safety requirements showing you how to use the equipment safely and guidance about what equipment is best to use to achieve the results you desire. These sessions are free to book at Reception & will last only 20 mins.

If you are an experience gym user, there is no need for an orientation, you just need to fill out a health commitment form and your off!

fitness programmes & analysis
Are you bored with your gym programme? Let one of our Gym Instructors put together a detailed programme of exercise so you are safe in the knowledge that you are working effectively when exercising on your own.

For a more detailed overview of your general health we also offer Fitness MOTs. Through a bio-electrical impedance test and other standard testing/measurement analysis our instructors can show an individual where they might need to improve or where to focus to yield faster results.

New 30 minute core gym classes

Come and take part in our gym-based circuit classes using the NEW functional space and equipment. Improve your strength, cardiovascular fitness, balance, power, agility, speed and BURN PLENTY OF CALORIES in 30 mins.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9.30am and 6pm

The classes are included in the price of a gym admission.
