Freedom Leisure is a not-for-profit charitable leisure trust, which means every penny you spend with us is re-invested in the leisure facilities and services we provide. We operate over 130 leisure centres across England and Wales and now we’re very proud to include Swansea Bay Sports Park to that family. Our mission? To improve lives through leisure – and that means supporting your health, happiness and wellbeing every single day.
Your Freedom Leisure App is ready
We’re delighted to let you know the NEW Swansea Bay Sports Park App is ready. Please download the Freedom Leisure App from your App/Play Store or click this link to get it now. Once you have downloaded the App, search for Swansea Bay Sports Park/Bay Campus after clicking ‘Find A Centre’ and login. Then you’ll be able to make bookings, check timetables and manage your membership.
If you’ve forgotten your password, enter your email address, click the link below the login screen and follow the instructions. Then return to the App and login.
Any problems, please speak to the team, they will be very happy to show you how to get the App and to book.
Check your child’s swimming lesson progress
If your child takes part in swimming lessons, we can now share with you a link so you can track their progress as you did before. As the new operator, we just needed to change the web link to ours but you can access our system exactly as you did before, with the same login credentials.

The transfer to Freedom Leisure will commence on Tuesday 1 September 2026. Customers will see Freedom Leisure on site over the next few days as a handover period begins.
You will see some changes over the coming weeks including our logo appearing on signage, new uniform for our colleagues, but essentially everything you love about Swansea Bay Sports Park will remain the same, especially the staff team and programmes.
Yes, all the great staff that have served you in the past will remain. Please bear with our colleagues as we change the systems and procedures that may be new to them and we thank you for your patience and understanding through the transfer
Yes. Please note, as of 1st September 2026, the main telephone number for Swansea Bay Sports Park will change to; 01792975030

No, the current website will remain in place https://www.swanseabaysportspark.wales/
No, we are not envisaging any closures. If we do have any parts of a facility that will close, we will do our best to communicate this in advance as soon as we can.
The centre opening hours will remain as they are currently and all timetables will be the
same post transfer. We will however be looking to make improvements and expanding the programme over time and we’ll notify you of any changes well in advance
Yes, we look forward to welcoming you from Monday 1 September. It will take a little time to get all our systems up and running but we will be open as normal and we will be doing everything we can to avoid any unnecessary disruption but please bear with our colleagues during this time.
It is our intention to continue with the normal swimming lesson programme so please attend as normal.
No, your details will be passed across to us along with any advance bookings already in place. If you wish to contact us please email us from 1 September (our email addresses are in Q.2 above) and a member of the team will be able to assist you with your enquiry.
Later in September we will contact all direct debit members by email informing them of the change of name from University of Swansea to Freedom Leisure. You will not need to amend you direct debit, we will change your direct debit for you but please be assured, the price you pay now is the price you will pay on your next direct debit collectio
All prices will remain the same on 1st September
Your membership details will be provided to us as part of the transfer process so you will be able to access the facilities for the duration of your membership as you do now
If your current membership allows you to use all the campuses then this will be the case on and after 1 September
Your current membership card will still work, please keep your card and use it as you do now.

Yes, if you currently qualify for a concessionary rate, this will continue. Your eligibility will be retained during the transfer.
