Wet Change Refurbishment

We are in the process of giving our wet change area a much-needed refresh!

Improvements currently taking place include:

• Repairing all lockers and cubicles
• Replacing light fittings and ceiling tiles
• Cosmetic tile work in selected areas

From 1–12 December, the wet change area will be CLOSED while we replace the floor with a new slate screed finish. During this time, we anticipate some disruption and will do our best to maintain a positive customer experience throughout the closure.

We recommend, if possible, that all swimmers arrive wearing their swimming attire underneath their clothes. Entry will be directly onto poolside via the reception entrance. Baskets will be available for clothing, which can be left on poolside while you swim. Pre-cleanse will be accessible from poolside for you to shower before and after your swim.

We will be creating a temporary changing area at the far end of the building, in the current spin studio, with at least 20 individual tents available for use. The spin studio will be relocated to the Haven during this period. Entry to poolside when DRY will be through the reception door. Exit from poolside when WET will be through the fire exit doors located at the deep end of the pool, leading directly to the temporary changing cubicles.

There will be certain times on our timetable when the changing cubicles will be CLOSED for public use due to school and swim school sessions. While the pool will remain open to the general public, please note that during these times you will NOT be able to use the temporary changing room and will need to dry off and dress over your swimwear before heading home. Please refer to the timetable below for these closure periods so you can plan accordingly.

We did not want to close the swimming pool completely during the works, as we know how important swimming access is for our members and customers. We have therefore put measures in place to allow us to operate throughout the two-week period. We will continue to review procedures daily and will do our best to accommodate individual needs where possible. Please do not hesitate to speak to a member of the team if you have any concerns.
