Pilates Hastings
A calming mat-based workout that focuses on improving core strength. Pilates uses a combination of slow and measured movements in order to create lean and strong muscles. It’s gentle but highly effective for improving posture and flexibility.

Why take part in our Hastings exercise classes?
Possibly the best thing about group exercise is the very fact it is led by a professional. Unlike going solo in the gym or at home, attending a class is the next best thing to having a personal trainer, making it a really affordable way to spend time with someone who can help you achieve your fitness and better body goals.

Activities that require booking can be done in person at reception, by telephone (01424) 457691 or online with a password generated for you by reception.
No, you can participate as a non-member. We would recommend you prebook as classes can be busy. You can do this on the day of the class. Payment will be required at the time of booking.
All our exercise classes at Summerfields include differentiated moves and sequences to suit all abilities. Please make sure the instructor knows of any health issues before the class starts.
This will depend on the individual’s own goals and fitness levels. For beginners, two or three classes weekly can provide a balanced routine without overwhelming the body. For people who are already active, they might aim for four to six classes, incorporating rest days and diversifying workout types to avoid overtraining and ensure muscle recovery.
