Intensive Swimming Lessons
Looking to ‘fast-track’ your child’s progress? We can provide more intensive lessons to help your child build skills and technique in the water at a quicker rate.

Our swimming lessons are accessible to all
We work hard to ensure our centres provide the best swimming facilities possible. This includes ensuring our pools have accessible access, including ramp access and hoists where we can. To ensure your safety all our pools are covered by friendly and highly qualified lifeguards to ensure the safety of all our swimmers.
In Partnership With Swim England
We work in partnership with Swim England to deliver a high quality Learn to Swim Programme for all ages and abilities.
All our instructors are experienced and fully trained to deliver the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme and are DBS checked.
Tracking your child’s progress
Many of our centres have systems in place to allow you to track your child’s swimming lesson progress online. Check with your local centre’s Swim Team to find out more.

You do not require a membership to book swimming classes or visit the centre, however membership is advised as this gives you access to additional benefits.
Our swimming pool is open every day with swimming lessons, family swim sessions, adult only lane swimming and canoe lessons all available. Please see the swimming timetable for more information.
It is the national syllabus produced by Swim England to assist and support the delivery of swimming lessons.
We encourage everyone to learn at their own pace. Some learners are more naturally competent and confident in the water and may progress faster. Others are slower to learn new skills but can quite often become stronger and more proficient swimmers as they progress.
Baby and toddler swimming lessons are less about teaching infants to swim and more about getting them used to the water and learn skills that support cognitive development. We offer sessions for babies from 3 months old and upwards.
Our pool at Stafford Leisure Centre is 25 metres long.
All our swimming lessons take place at Stafford Leisure Centre, Lammascote Road, Stafford, ST16 3TA. You can also sign up for swimming lessons at our sister site, Stone Leisure Centre.
