St Luke's Swimming Pool has some superb swimming facilities, suitable for both serious swimmers and the whole family to enjoy!
St Lukes is a 15m swimming pool in Grade 2 listed Victorian building. Have fun splashing around and practising the life skill of swimming, a great way to cool down on hot days or to escape the rain during the traditional English summer. The whole family will enjoy the time spent together at St Lukes. Junior fun sessions and swim academy are available.
Swimming is a great form of exercise for the whole body. The swimming pool provides a great environment for warming up or cooling down after a strenuous exercise class or gym workout but is also a very effective exercise in its own right. The water provides additional resistance for your muscle groups to work against and supports some of your body weight reducing the strain on your joints.
Unwind after a busy day with a relaxing swim. Wash away all the stress of the day in the pool during adult swim sessions. At St Lukes we offer lane swimming, women only, adults only, aquafit and private pool hire.
Brighton & Hove residents under the age of 16 can swim for free during public swimming sessions. Children must register at their local site with proof of age and residence. Available Monday - Friday from 3.30pm during state school term time, all day Saturday & Sunday, school holidays (Brighton & Hove state school holidays including inset days) & Bank Holidays. Get down to your local pool today and take advantage of this fantastic offer!
We currently have no space in our non swimmer lessons, we can however offer space for this at Prince Regent swimming complex. For all other swimming lessons please still contact us here at St Lukes.
Here at St Lukes swimming pool we follow The British Gas ASA Learn to Swim Pathway. This means your child will be following a nationally recognised syllabus and awards system produced by swimming’s governing body.
Are there any time restrictions?
At busy times a band system will be put into operation to limit session to two hours.
Do children need to be accompanied?
All children under 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. An adult may only take responsibility for a maximum of two children. Click here for our swimming admissions policy.
