We are incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of two of our diving coaches, Connor Lano and Alice Billton, who recently delivered exceptional performances at national level competitions.

Alice achieved an incredible result, reaching the final and finishing 5th in the UK. As one of only a small number of female platform divers from Southend to compete at this level, her achievement is a testament to her dedication, talent, and hard work in the sport.
Connor Lano Claims National Silver
Connor Lano Claims National Silver
Connor enjoyed an impressive national competition, securing Silver in the Men's 3m Synchro event alongside his diving partner, Todd, who is also a Freedom Leisure member. The pair were narrowly beaten only by the current GB Olympic partnership, making their second-place finish an exceptional achievement ahead of all other competitors.
Connor has previously represented Great Britain as a junior athlete and, this month, added another milestone to his career by representing Team GB at senior level. He also competed in the Men's 3m Individual event, finishing 22nd in the preliminary round.
Alongside Todd, Connor went on to compete in the Men's 3m Synchro Senior event, where the pair achieved an impressive 6th-place finish, a fantastic result in their first senior-level competition together.
