what is Les Mills?

Les Mills™ is an internationally recognised group fitness program. We run BodyAttack, BodyBalance and BodyPump classes at Sandwich with our Les Mills instructors undergoing regular updates and training to bring you new and innovative classes to challenge your mind and body.


Les Mills Body Balance™ is ideal for anyone and everyone; it is the yoga-based class that will improve your mind, your body and your life.

During Body Balance an inspired soundtrack plays as you bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will always provide options for those just getting started. You’ll strengthen your entire body and leave the class feeling calm and centred.

This class will improve your flexibility and increase core strength while you reduce stress levels. You’ll focus your mind and create a lasting sense of wellbeing and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretch moves and poses to music creates a holistic workout that brings your body into a state of harmony and balance.


Les Mills Body Pump™ is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast.

Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, body pump gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 400 calories per class. Instructors will coach you through the scienctifcally proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! 

You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.

This full body barbell workout will burn calories, shape and tone your entire body, increase core strength and improve bone health.


Les Mills Body Attack™ is a high-energy fitness class with moves that cater for total beginners to total addicts. We combine athletic movements like running, lunging and jumping with strength exercises such as push-ups and squats. An instructor will pump out energizing tunes and lead you through the workout – challenging your limits in a good way, burning up to 730 calories and leaving you with a sense of achievement.

Body Attack is a whole body workout that burns calories while toning and shaping. You’ll build stamina and our sports-inspired moves will improve your coordination and agility. Get quicker off the mark in everything you do. The class can be adjusted to your current fitness levels. Our instructors give you low-impact options to tailor each workout to your fitness level. Research shows that the secret to getting fit for life is a slow build up so we recommend starting with 1-2 classes a week and working your way up from there.
