• Kick for 10 metres in each of the 4 strokes (Front Crawl, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly)? This can be done using 1 floatation aid.
• Swim 10 metres without assistance or a floatation aid?

Can your child do all of the following?

• Tread water for 30 seconds?
• Swim 10 metres in each of the 4 strokes (Front Crawl, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly)?
• Perform a handstand underwater which can be held for 3 seconds?

Can your child do all of the following?

• Swim 25 metres without assistance or a floatation aid?
• Stand on the side of the pool and dive in?

Can your child do all of the following?

• Swim 25 metres in each of the 4 strokes (Front Crawl, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly)?
• Swim 200 metres using a minimum of 3 different strokes?
