Welcome to our March Swim Academy Newsletter.
We are excited to share all the latest updates, news, and activities happening across our venues over the next few weeks.
As we head into a new month, there is plenty to look forward to, from exciting sessions in the pool to important updates and opportunities for our swimmers to progress and achieve their goals.
We are delighted to have you as part of our Swim Academy community and can not wait to see you soon in the pool.
Easter Weekend Swim Update
We are excited to let you know that our swimming lessons will continue as usual throughout the Easter Weekend at all of our venues.
In addition to regular lessons, our venues will be buzzing with fun family activities and special sessions throughout the two week Easter holiday.

Easter Holiday Crash Courses
We are excited to announce that our venues will be running a one week intensive swim crash course from Monday 30th March to Thursday 4th April.
These classes are designed to give focused attention to each swimmer, with a maximum of 4 swimmers per class, making them perfect for those who are close to completing a stage or need extra support to master specific skills
The 4 day courses are priced at £50 for non Swim Academy members and £45 for Swim Academy members, offering a fantastic opportunity for concentrated learning and rapid progress.
Our experienced instructors will provide tailored guidance to help every swimmer gain confidence, refine their technique, and achieve their goals.
Spaces are limited, so be sure to contact your venue reception team to secure your swimmer’s place.

Freedom Leisure provides swim hats for all swimmers during lessons. Swim hats have many benefits, and we look forward to seeing every swimmer wearing theirs this week.
All parents and swimmers are entitled to their own Swipe Card for entry through the turnstiles. If you do not yet have one, please contact your venue’s reception team, and they will issue a card for you
Parents should watch lessons from the spectator gallery, not poolside. Exceptions are made only for those with prior authorisation due to medical reasons.
Please remove footwear when entering the changing areas to help our teams keep them clean and mud free. Flip flops or other poolside footwear are still permitted
Mobile devices are not permitted in the changing rooms in line with Swim England guidelines. This ensures the privacy and protection of all members.
Thank you for helping us keep our venues safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone.
Swim Academy Award Week
We are excited to announce that our next Award Week will take place during the week commencing Monday 13th April through Sunday 19th April
This is a fantastic opportunity for our swimmers to work towards a variety of awards, including I Can Awards, Duckling Awards, Distance Awards, Water Safety Awards, and Stages
After their lesson, swimmers can bring their badge slips to reception to purchase their award and celebrate their achievements. It is a great way to recognise their hard work, progress, and dedication in the pool.
We would also love to capture your little ones’ proud moments. If your child would like to have their photograph taken by our ‘Achievement Board’, please share it with us, and we will give them a special ‘Shout Out’ on our Facebook page.
Simply email your photo to Daniel.coombes@freedom-leisure.co.uk and let us celebrate their success with the wider community.
We are delighted to offer our Small Focused Swim Lesson Groups at Applemore Health & Leisure, Lymington, New Milton, Ringwood, and Totton.
These lessons are run with a maximum ratio of 1 instructor to 5 swimmers, making them perfect for children who benefit from a more personalised, small group environment.
Classes are designed to provide extra attention, tailored guidance, and faster progress for each swimmer, helping them build confidence and skills in the water.
Lessons are available for £62.50 per month, giving your child the opportunity to learn in a supportive, focused setting.

This app allows swimmers to record, track, and celebrate their swimming achievements all in one place.
