Track your child's progress through our swimming lesson Home Portal
You can now keep up to date with your child’s progress on our Swim England Learn to Swim programme using our online Home Portal.
Once registered, accessing the Home Portal allows you to:
- View the outcomes for each stage of the Swim England Framework
- Track your/your child’s progress at each stage
- Get notifications of awards achieved
- Move to the next class/stage when appropriate

Swimming lessons for babies and children
We offer swimming lessons for small children up to 5 years of age. Discovery Ducklings Stages 1-4 (0-24 months) and Ducklings Stages 1-4 (2-5 years).
Children's swimming lessons
Our Learn to Swim Framework Stages 1-7 delivers fundamental movement skills in the water and develops all four swimming strokes.
Adult swimming lessons
Our adult swimming lessons are perfect for adults who want to learn to swim or improve technique.

Junior and Adult Swim Squad is designed to improve stroke technique, stamina and enjoyment of swimming.

We Follow Swim England's Learn To Swim Pathway
We work in partnership with Swim England to deliver a high quality Learn to Swim Programme for all ages and abilities.
All our instructors are experienced and fully trained to deliver the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme and are fully DBS checked.
About Swim England's Pathway
Additional information regarding our Swimming lessons:
- We offer a range of swimming lessons available for every age group. You can make an enquiry here.
- To log in to the swim school portal you will need to download the Freedom Leisure App, then register your child’s details: name, DOB & card number.
- The lesson card you are given is used for swimming lessons and for recreational swimming, any other activities the child takes part in is charged at a non-member rate.
- Swimming lessons are paid for monthly, on a pro rata basis. This means that your payment is spread equally over a 12 month period, this will enable you to use the lesson card for recreational swimming at any time during the payment period.
- Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult into the changing areas and to their lesson until their swimming teacher starts the class.
- Children in the Swim School can be awarded swimming badges whenever they move up a stage or group, these can be purchased from reception.
- Direct Debits cannot be cancelled verbally, click cancel swimming lessons.

You can enrol your baby from birth.
No, public swimming is included in your swimming lessons.
The direct debit will come out on or around the 1st of the month and unfortunately we cannot change the date.
We do not charge you for Bank Holiday lessons.
Our Pre school, Adult & Baby and Adult & Toddler lessons run for 42 weeks of the year, except during Easter holidays, Summer holidays or Christmas holidays.
Stages 1 to 7 run for 50 weeks of the year, except during the Christmas holidays.

Our Swim Only membership gives you unlimited access to the pools at Littlehampton Wave and our sister Freedom Leisure site Arun Leisure Centre.
We also offer Unlimited membership, granting you full access to the gyms and fitness classes across 3 Freedom Leisure sites, along with unlimited swimming.

Free parking is available at Littlehampton Wave. Upon arrival, please enter your car registration details on one of our tablets. This allows you to park at the centre for up to 5 hours for free when visiting the pool or using the other facilities.
There is a café on site selling a range of hot and cold drinks and snacks.
Click on REGISTER NOW. This will take you to the following steps:
- Step 1 - enter your child’s membership card number, then continue.
- Step 2 - answer security questions - your child’s date of birth, then answer one of the following: member email address and member post code, then continue.
- Step 3 - link additional members? (i.e. siblings) allows you to add another child, once entered proceed to finish.
- Step 4 - please enter login details to finalise process i.e. email address, set up a password, confirm password. Tick box to confirm you have read and accepted the terms and conditions. Then confirm.
If when registering it doesn’t recognise your email address, please check with reception and they will update your child’s contact information.
All our swimming lessons take place at Littlehampton Wave, Sea Road, Littlehampton, BN16 2NA. You can also enrol in swim classes at our Freedom Leisure sister centre Arun Leisure Centre.
