Here at Littlehampton Wave we believe that everyone should be able to swim. Not only is it an important skill that can save lives but it also means everyone can enjoy the water and have the confidence to ‘jump in’ on holiday, at the beach or at your local swimming pool.
Children can start their swimming journey with us from as little as 3 months old during our 'Parent and under 5's' sessions. This is the ideal time to start as let's face it, they've been swimming for 9 months (give or take) so this should be 'home from home' and Mum or Dad (or granny or grandpa for that matter) will be in the water with them.
At school age they can join in either our group lessons which mainly take place after school or at the weekend and we'll take them through the Swim England stages all the way to being a competent and confident swimmer or if you want a more intensive personal approach we can offer one-to-one lessons to suit you.
Are you looking for children's beginner lessons? We now have spaces on weekdays after school at 17:30 and 18:00!
Use the enquiry from below and our Swim School staff will talk you through the process and get you booked on.

It’s never too late to start your swimming journey whether you are at the beginning of your journey learning to swim for the first time, looking to improve your technique and skills or looking for support with training for a specific event.
Within our adult swim programme members will have their own goals and work at their own pace supported by our fully qualified instructors. Private lessons are available for those who would appreciate more individual support.
