I’m a 43-year-old dad of two boys, so they keep me pretty busy… though honestly, I think they’re the ones trying to keep up with me.
I’ve been part of the fitness community for around 25 years now, I absolutely love it, and my goal here as a trainer is to build a community of people from different backgrounds with the same common goal; to improve their lives!
I used to train like a bodybuilder - the goal was all about looking muscular and lean. But as I’ve got older, my focus has shifted towards movement and performance - and I’m now moving and performing better than ever. The bonus? I don’t look much different than I did back then, but I’m having way more fun doing it.
Outside the gym, I love being outdoors and spending time out there with my family. I’m always up for an adventure - whether that’s climbing a mountain, running an ultramarathon, or taking on a fitness race. I completed my first HYROX in May with a time of 1:09:52, and I’ve got another race booked for December - let’s see if I can get a PB!
My own fitness journey has taught me a lot about the resilience of the human body and what it’s capable of with the right approach to training and nutrition.
