Drop-in Adult Lanes
We have updated our swimming timetable. You no longer need to book your adult lane swims in advance. All you need to do is show up and swim!
The pool is seperated into slow, medium and fast lanes in order to create an enjoyable swimming envirnoment suitable for all abilities. You must be over 16 to attend an adult session.
Now that restrictions have lifted we are once again able to offer full acces to changing rooms, lockers, showers and haridryers. You can use the changing rooms before your swim so no need to come ready!
Families and Open Swims
Swimming is a great activity for the whole family to participate in together. During Open Swims you can come down and use the main pool and the lagoon areas. Check the timetable to make sure you ahve enough time to enjoy yourselves!
No longer any need to book in advance, just check the online timetable and see when the Open Swim sessions are running!
Please remember that children under 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult who must be in the water with them at all times.
During our evening Open Swim sessions the Lagoon will close at 20:30.

Junior Swim School
Our incredibly popular Swim School program teaches kids of all ages how to swim. Starting right down with pre-school lessons up to stage 8. Your kids can stay with us throughout their swimming journey, or join at any point along the way!
We have dedicated swim school times Monday - Saturday where your children will spend a half an hour in either the teaching, lagoon or main pools with a level 2 qualified swim teacher.
Our teachers are fun, friendly, creative and passionate, your child’s enjoyment and progression are of the upmost importance to them.
We always do a short assessment before starting any child in lessons to make sure they will be in the right group stage.
5 day intensive swimming courses teaching swim England ASA pathway stages 1-3. Whether your child is a beginner or can swim up to 10 meters these courses are a great way for children to gain confidence and water skills.

On Monday evenings at 18:00 we run Adult Swim Lessons. If you're a nervous swimmer, looking to improve on your existing skills or just need a bit of help building confidence then ask at reception for more information and how to sign up!
We are curently running this as a group session but do hope to return to 1-2-1 lessons soon.
Free Swimming for under 16's
Brighton & Hove residents under the age of 16 can swim for free during public swimming sessions. Children must register at their local site with proof of age and residence.
Available Monday - Friday after school (in line with our current timetable this is Thursday evenings only 18:00 -21:00) during state school term time, all day Saturday & Sunday, school holidays (Brighton & Hove state school holidays including inset days) & Bank Holidays.

Are there any time restrictions?
At busy times a band system will be put into operation to limit session to two hours.
Do children need to be accompanied?
