Ashford & District RRC is a non-profit road running club, run entirely by volunteers. Each year, a committee is elected by members to manage the club’s activities. Catering to runners of all abilities and distances, the club fosters a supportive and inclusive environment for both recreational and competitive runners alike.

The club holds a coached training session at Julie Rose Stadium on Wednesday evenings at 7pm - 8pm.

Ashford Athletic Club (AAC) is dedicated to supporting its members in reaching their full potential, regardless of skill level. The club fosters a positive environment where success is measured by both achievements and the enjoyment of participation. With qualified coaching and competitive opportunities, AAC promotes values of leadership, equality, respect, and teamwork for all athletes.

AAC's training sessions are held twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. There are two training sessions on each day,  5:30pm - 6:45pm and 6:45pm - 8pm. The training day and time is often dependent on the specialty, group capacity, and athletes' age and experience.

Ashford Striders is a welcoming running club in Ashford, Kent, focused on inclusivity and supporting runners of all abilities, from beginners to ultra runners. The club offers a friendly and encouraging environment where members can improve their running skills, connect with fellow runners, and achieve their fitness goals. With a range of paces and technique sessions, Ashford Striders ensures every runner feels supported and motivated to progress, whether they are training for a 5K or a longer distance. Guest runners from other clubs are always welcome to join in.

Club running nights are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday every week and they offer runs of various paces as well as technique sessions.

At Julie Rose's Conningbrook Lakes, Cinque Ports Sailing offers dinghy sailing, recreational Stand-Up Paddleboarding, and RYA courses for both dinghy sailing and powerboating. The club provides after-school sailing clubs, training for children, youth, and adults, and regular club sailing sessions. With a focus on fun, safety, and skill development, participants can enjoy supervised recreational sailing and take part in lighthearted races. Whether you’re new to sailing or looking to improve, Conningbrook Lakes offers an inclusive environment to learn and grow on the water.

Pirates Canoe Club is a welcoming paddle sport community with around 150 members of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you're a seasoned white-water paddler, a sea kayaker, or new to the sport, Pirates Canoe Club offers something for everyone. Based in Kent, the club paddles on local seas and rivers, with an active calendar that includes sessions at Conningbrook Lakes and trips across the UK. Members also enjoy international trips to destinations like France and Slovenia for white-water adventures. Affiliated with British Canoeing, Pirates Canoe Club ensures a safe and inclusive environment for all paddlers.
