Hi, I’m Amy!

I’m your Aquatics Manager for the Braintree Division which oversees Braintree Swimming and Fitness, Witham Leisure Centre and Halstead Leisure Centre, and I’m sure you've guessed, I'm passionate about all things swimming!

I Started out as a Lifeguard

I’ve worked in the leisure industry for 8 years, starting out as a Lifeguard and working my way through a variety of roles including Reception, Swim Teaching and Assistant Manager before becoming an Aquatics Manager.

Everyone feels welcome

I love seeing swimmers build confidence, learn new skills and achieve things they never thought they could. Outside of the pool, I’m always looking for new ideas to make our swim schools bigger, better and, most importantly, a place where everyone feels welcome.

I’m often around the pool, so if you see me, come and say hello! I’d love to get to know more of our swimmers and families and hear what you enjoy about your swimming experience.
