Guildford Lido is one of the few 1930's outdoor pools set in 3½ acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and heated to 24 degrees centigrade, the Olympic sized pool is a great place to chill out, meet friends, picnic and of course, swim!
During the summer season the Lido is available for casual visits, early morning swims and private hire. The venue has been used to host a variety of events from outdoor concerts to informal parties and BBQ's.
I love using Guildford Lido. It is a brilliant local resource, one we are lucky to have.Ruth
The 10-lane 50 metre pool is open to season ticket holders and members of the public throughout the summer season. The Lido is open early in the morning for lane swimming sessions and then is open for open swimming during the day.
On certain days during the week and at weekends the pool is open for evening lane swimming.
Guildford Lido is home to three exciting slides, as well as the paddling pool.
The slides are open during the following hours:
Term time, Monday to Friday: 3.30pm - 6.00pm
School holidays and weekends 10.30am - 6.30pm
Customers can ride the MULTISLIDE which has two lanes side-by-side so two people can race themselves to see who's the fastest and if you're brave enough take on the KAMIKAZE - one slide, straight down BOOM!
For a more gentler experience meander down the ANACONDA but look out for those tricky corners that will make you go faster!
At the bottom of the slides we have the paddling pool and interactive toys and a mini slide for our younger swimmers.
Height restrictions apply
You need to be 1 meter high to ride the multi slide and anaconda, 1.2 meters to ride the kamikaze.
